1. PERSONAL DATA

The Spectrometer app does not collect or store any personal information about you.

2. SAVED DATA

The data that the app saves between the sessions you use the app are the following:

Saved Measurements - If you choose to save any measurements, these are stored locally on your device.
Calibration Data - If you choose to change the calibration, the calibration values will be saved between sessions (so that you do not have to redo the calibration every time you start the app). The calibration values are stored locally on your device.
Settings - If you update any settings, such as the "high contrast mode" or "keep screen on", these settings are saved. The settings are stored locally on your device.

To delete the data described above, simply uninstall the app. (Then install the app again if you want to continue to use it.)

In order to improve the app, the app could gather usage data, with the goal to improve the user experience of future versions of the app. If or when this is done, it is done anonymously so that the data cannot be used to personally identify you.

3. IN-APP PURCHASE

Some versions of the app use third-party services Google Play Services, Apple App Store and RevenueCat to handle in-app purchases. These tools collect data that possibly can be used to identify you. Please see their respective privacy policy for details, Google Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy and RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

The app does not store the information about the in-app purchases - this is instead handled by these third-party services.

4. CAMERA USAGE

In order for the app to do its main thing - to measure the dominant wavelength of light - it needs to use the camera. This is the only use the app has for the camera. No images, videos or sounds are saved in the app or sent anywhere by the app.
